Metalcraft is now offering Global Universal RFID Tag, a new product offering seamless performance across both FCC and EU frequency bands.
The tag is the newest addition to Metalcraft’s Universal RFID product line and is engineered for global compatibility and designed to read up to 15 feet (4.57 meters) on metal surfaces. The Global Universal Tag ensures consistent, high-performance tracking— wherever an assets go.
Barcode and human-readable equivalent are produced using the latest high-resolution digital technology available, which provides excellent clarity and easy scanning. Code 39 is the standard symbology with a range of 2.7 to 5.4 CPI (characters per inch).

Available in both preprinted and on-site printable versions, the Global Universal RFID Tag adapts to any workflow. Bermel noted businesses looking to make a strong visual impact, the preprinted version supports full-color, four-color process printing, offering vibrant logo customization.
The label copy may include block type, stylized type, logos or other designs. All copy, block type, stylized type, logos, designs and barcode are subsurface printed. This unique process provides moderate resistance to solvents, caustics, acids and abrasion. Standard colors include black, red, yellow, green, dark blue, orange, purple and blue. Due to contrast needed for the barcode scanner, all barcodes are blackOnsite-printable options are available.
