Lessons Learned in Asset Management

By Rich Handley

RFID Journal is hosting a webinar this week outlining how to implement and run an integrated and active asset-tracking program

Ever since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, RFID Journal has increased the number of online conferences, both webinars and virtual events, that we've offered. A lot of businesses in multiple countries still face travel restrictions, but the need to share education with our readers remains as strong as ever. During the past month, we've offered three virtual events—RFID in Harsh EnvironmentsRFID and IoT in Europe and  RFID in Aerospace and Defense—all of which have proved to be highly beneficial to those who've attended. In 2022, there will be more to come.

This Thursday, we'll be offering a webinar titled "Tales from the Field: Building and Running a Successful IT Hardware Asset-Management Program," which will be sponsored by  RF Code. The company provides active RFID solutions designed to deliver real-time asset tracking and protection for data center environments, enabling facilities to achieve continuous visibility, reduce expenses, increase efficiency, avoid downtimes and ensure regulatory compliance.

Mario Giovannitti, the manager of data center services at a large healthcare organization based in North Texas, will share his journey, along with the successes he achieved and the lessons he learned from implementing and running an integrated and active asset-management program. Those who attend this webinar will learn why Giovannitti chose an active RFID solution over a passive one, how his current system enables business process automation, and some of the benefits his firm has achieved.

If you are planning an asset-tracking project at your company or organization, then you won't want to miss this webinar. Giovannitti will provide unique insights that can help you achieve success with your deployment by benefitting from his lessons learned. You or a representative can register for the online event  here.
