There are generally three types of cables used in an RFID installation. Coaxial cables are used to connect reader antennas to a reader. Ethernet cables connect readers to a network, unless the reader uses a Wi-Fi or cellular connection. And you might need to run power cables to a box so that you can plug in the reader above a dock door, or in some other location in your facility.
