Where might I find long-range passive RFID tags in a plastic cover for use as an electronic seal?

Yes, there are long-range passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) RFID transponders encased in plastic. Omni-ID's Ultra tag, for example, is a large UHF tag that can be read from a distance of more than 80 feet, but I am unsure if it is suitable as an electronic seal. E-seals typically have a mechanism that lets you know if a container was opened. There are a variety of active and passive RFID-enabled e-seals currently on the market. We published an overview of these a few years ago (see RFID-enabled Electronic Seals).
