Do you know who manages California’s fare-collection system?

I believe that Cubic Transportation Systems manages the state’s fare-collection system, which utilizes Near Field Communication (NFC)-enabled Clipper cards. NXP Semiconductors provided the original cards used during the pilot (see SF’s Transit System Offers Commuters Fast Access to Subways and Sandwiches), but I do not know who is currently providing the cards. If any of our readers have information about this, they are invited to post it below.
