Are there any others besides those made for monitoring temperature—for example, pressure tags, accelerometer tags, and so forth?

David,

Phase IV Engineering makes a battery-assisted strain sensor, which logs the amount of strain on rebar embedded in concrete (see Contractors Use RFID Sensors to Measure Strain in Seattle Rail Tunnels). There are also passive tags that communicate the level of moisture in an area. In 2015, for example, Smartrac introduced the Sensor DogBone tag. While this tag does not have a battery and cannot store moisture readings, it can sense the relative amount of moisture in the environment and communicate this data wirelessly to a reader, which can then forward the information to a back-end database for storage and analysis (see Smartrac's New Passive Sensor DogBone Transmits Moisture Levels).
