What do government regulations in that country dictate regarding the use of radio frequency identification technologies?

Matthew,

To my knowledge, there are no government regulations covering RFID systems in Afghanistan. The Ministry of Communications has published a document titled "Regulation for the Use of Radio Frequencies and Radio Communications Equipment in Afghanistan," which spells out the frequencies that can be used for cellular communications, TV broadcasting and other devices in that country. RFID, however, is not covered. So to use an RFID system in Afghanistan, you'd need to apply for a license from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of Afghanistan.
