I have a passive UHF Cobalt reader from Datalogic (model UHF-CNTL-IND-02-US). Can you tell me how to reset the IP address of the controller?

Datalogic sold the division responsible for this product to Balluff about two years ago. I reached out to Balluff to see if I could get an answer to your question. Mike Ockerman, Balluff's technical support specialist at Balluff responds: The Cobalt RFID controllers are initially supplied with a "configuration" RFID tag for resetting factory settings of the device. This includes resetting the IP address to the default setting of 192.168.253.110. All configuration tags supplied with the UHF Cobalt controllers are identical to one another, so any tag that was supplied with a controller is acceptable. If the configuration tag cannot be found, please contact Balluff technical support. Instructions for resetting factory defaults can be found on the reverse side of the configuration tag."
