We spoke with our contacts at Farsens for a little clarification of this question. They suggest checking out a reference design that can help you look into vibration sensors. That should provide a sense of how to build a sensor tag and how to customize it for the ADXI. Going over the Rocky 100 and ADXI datasheets will help as well. Bear in mind, though, that vibration sensors require a great deal of power, which would not work well with battery-free tags.
When it comes to software, there is no specific software available for the application you mention. If you develop a custom sensor tag with a specific sensor on it, you will need to make sure you program the firmware of the MCU (if you are using one in your design) and the software of the reader accordingly. You will also have to configure the Rocky100 specifically for the design you have come up with. Good luck with this project!
