Would the presence of tag antennas pose an obstacle to recycling efforts?

The answer would depend on the type of tag being used. Certainly, a passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) tag with an etched metal antenna would need to be removed before the corrugate could be recycled. It is possible to recycle tags made with printed inks. I am unsure if antennas made from laser-cut aluminum sheets would affect the recycling of the corrugate; I don't think it would, but perhaps one of our readers can confirm this.
