RFID Journal Staff asked 8 years ago I use a supplier for the dirt, and there is usually no one at my job site to count the loads. Is there an off-the-shelf RFID solution that could keep track of loads delivered from the supplier to the site?

This is a fairly straightforward RFID application. There is no out-of-the-box solution available, but almost any systems integrator should be able to set up RFID readers at your gate to identify dump-trucks arriving at your construction sites, find the best tags for those trucks and set up a software application to track vehicles arriving at and leaving the site.
