Yes, Murata Manufacturing offers an RFID transponder for PCBs known as the MagicStrap (see New Component to Simplify RFID Tag Production). The product can be placed directly on a printed circuit board using industry-standard pick-and-place equipment, and can either be glued or soldered to the PCB. Murata will exhibit its products at RFID Journal LIVE! 2013, to be held in Orlando, Fla., from Apr. 30 to May 2.
