RFID Journal Staff asked 13 years ago I am doing research in radio frequency identification, on building a system to track patients. I am new to this area, and have a very basic understanding regarding RFID architecture. I've learned that RFID is implemented in health care all over the world, and I want to do more research in this area. Please shed some light regarding in what areas I should proceed with my research.

• Tracking assets

• Improving anti-counterfeiting efforts
• Managing hospital beds
• Monitoring emergency responses
• Tracking drug temperatures and expiration dates
• Protecting infants
• Managing laundry
• Tracking specimens
• Tracking surgical sponges
