A company called TJS offers a complete jewelry-tracking solution, which has been implemented by Borsheims, for example (see RFID Eliminates Shrinkage at Borsheims' Jewelry Store). Trace ID Solutions (formerly Trace Tech ID Solutions) also offers a complete jewelry-tracking solution. And Italian fine-jewelry retailer Matranga has been employing a system provided by Dynamic ID, known as Jewel-ID (see High-End Sicilian Jeweler Tags Inventory, Recoups Investment). Other companies have purchased RFID inventory-management software for retailers, as well as passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) or high-frequency (HF) jewelry tags, in order to create their own solutions.
