Would it be possible for our company to monitor how many times we used a particular tag?

Muhammad,

Yes, but keep in mind that a reader will interrogate a tag many times within a very short span of time. Let's say a tagged container was moving through a dock door equipped with RFID readers. The tag might remain in the read zone for only five seconds, but during that span it might be read 30 times. You would not want to record that you'd used the tag 30 times, since you would only have used it once. So you would need to set up your software to apply filtering logic. You might have your software record in a database that a specific tag was read passing through the portal, along with the time of the first tag read. The remaining reads for, say, the next hour would be filtered out. You could then develop a report that would tell you how many times a particular tag had passed through a specific portal, which would tell you how many times it was used.
