What Is the Best Buy Among NFC Chip Makers?
Which company is the leading provider?
NXP Semiconductors is the leading provider of Near Field Communication (NFC) ICs used in NFC transponders. These chips are utilized in tags made by a wide variety of companies. Which one is the best buy is difficult to say. It depends on whether you just want the cheapest transponder or are looking for a combination of price, quality, reliability and other factors. I would contact NXP, and also reach out to Avery Dennison, Smartrac Technologies and Invengo, which make high-quality NFC products and can deliver them in large quantities.
