Where Can I Find RFID Tags for Storage Media?

Posted By RFID Journal, 11.02.2012
We are trying to determine if there is anyone in the market that can provide tags for tracking tape drives and other storage media, besides Tri-Optic, Imation and Netc. Do you know of any new players?

Nancy,

I am unaware of any others. Confidex, Xerafy and Omni-ID all make FSTC-compliant tags, so these companies might also offer tags for storage media.

The Financial Services Technology Consortium (FSTC) has transitioned into BITS, the technology policy division of the Financial Services Roundtable. Perhaps the folks at BITS might know the names of some vendors that produce such tags.

If any of our readers are aware of such tags, they are invited to post information below.
