U.K. Hotel Transitions to BLE Mobile Room Access

Stock Exchange Hotel is leveraging ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions' RFID technology to let guests check in and access their rooms via smartphones, in order to increase convenience and minimize disease transmission risks caused by in-person interactions.

The  Stock Exchange Hotel began deploying an RFID-based solution to secure its guest doors and safes in late 2019. Now, the company is expanding the solution to enable secure access for guests via their mobile phones, leveraging Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology.
