Description: The purpose of this contract is to implement an adequate electronic identification and registration system in Turkey, in order to trace the movements of ovine and caprine animals in line with European Union requirements, as well as control animal diseases. • coordinating an electronic ear-tagging operation, managed at national and provincial levels
• conducting training programs regarding electronic identification rules
• conducting public surveys within 20 provinces, and revising the existing communication strategy
• organizing an information campaign to increase public awareness of the solution's implementation
The awareness of farmers will be improved with the help of such communication tools as television, radio, printed materials, training, public-awareness events and more.
