I just walked through an RFID reader at a library and I was using my cell phone at the time. Could this interfere with my health? I wasn't paying attention to the fact that I was walking through the portal. Sorry for what may be a stupid question.

Ruben,
Your phone puts out far more RF energy than an RFID portal at a library does. Moreover, there are no ill effects from RF energy emitted by an RFID reader… unless perhaps you were to spend many hours sitting directly in front of one (which, of course, no one would have any reason to do).
