It depends on what you include in the ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) band. When we talk about passive UHF, we generally mean systems that operate between 860 and 960 MHz. The UHF band for active RFID covers systems that operate at 433 and 900 MHz. Some people consider 2.45 GHz part of the UHF band, while others consider it microwave technology. At 433 MHz, some of the leaders are Identec Solutions, Evigia, RF Code, Radianse and Savi Technology. In the 900 MHz band, you have Identec Solutions and Radarfind. AeroScout is the leader using 2.45 GHz.
