Which manufacturers of low-frequency and high-frequency interrogators are the most prominent, in terms of market share?

There are many companies that manufacture passive high-frequency (HF) readers based on the ISO 15693 and ISO 14443 air-interface protocol standards, as well as the Near Field Communication (NFC) protocol, though I have not seen any studies indicating market share. These firms include Feig Electronic, GAO RFID, HID Global, IDtronic, Ingenico Healthcare/e-ID, Nethom, RFID Inc., Tertium Technology, Texas Instruments, Xiamen Xindeco IOT Technology Ltd. and others.

Technology Solutions UK Ltd. offers a snap-on peripheral for Motorola's MC55 and MC65 HF handheld readers. The device provides the ability to read and write to transponders at 13.56 MHz, including those based on the ISO 15693, ICODE (I and II) and ISO 14443 (A and B) standards.

There are fewer companies offering LF RFID equipment. RFID, Inc. is a leading provider of LF tags and readers and has a comprehensive suite of LF products. GAO RFID and SkyRFID Inc., in Canada, both sell passive LF readers, while RFID Inc. provides passive LF readers and tags. I have also seen LF readers from a Chinese company called D-Think Inc., and Technology Solutions UK Ltd. offers an LF reader that snaps on to Motorola's MC70, MC75 and MC75A handhelds. The latter device is powered from the Motorola terminal, and can interrogate both 125 kHz and 134.2 kHz tags.
