RFID Journal Staff asked 8 years ago Which nations top the charts, as far as RFID adoption is concerned? Could you please share the source of the same, if available?

I have not seen any published data about which countries are adopting RFID most quickly. RFID Journal has an open-source map feature that allows visitors to enter information about deployments. Just a glance at the map shows that the United States and Western Europe have, by far, the most deployments. Of course, it could be that folks in Asia, Latin America and Africa are not imputing information, or that RFID Journal is not hearing about those deployments, but from my travels and discussions with RFID professionals in those regions, I would say that adoption levels in those areas are significantly behind those in the United States and Western Europe.
