BioTeq implants individuals with passive LF RFID transponders, and there is also a company called Cyberise that offers RFID implantations. Verichip was among the first companies to offer RFID implantations, but it merged with another firm and then merged again. These days, the company is no longer offering RFID implants, as far as I can tell. In any case, I am unsure how much security this technology would offer, since the transponders can only be read from a few inches away.
