Our midsize customers that don't have as much clout as a Macy's are asking for guidance on how they might go about it—requesting it, outlining benefits, etc. Intro email or letter? Retailers typically host a virtual meeting with suppliers to explain their RFID program, and they also provide a detailed playbook with key information, according to GS1 US. Organizations like GS1 US and the Auburn University RFID Lab, as well as independent consultants, can provide guidance on these topics.
