We have several retailer prospects interested in RFID that are asking for some good examples of retailer communications to suppliers about RFID source-tagging mandates or requests. Our midsize customers that don't have as much clout as a Macy's are asking for guidance on how they might go about it—requesting it, outlining benefits, etc. Intro email or letter? Overview presentation? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Retailers typically host a virtual meeting with suppliers to explain their RFID program, and they also provide a detailed playbook with key information, according to GS1 US. Organizations like GS1 US and the Auburn University RFID Lab, as well as independent consultants, can provide guidance on these topics. Check out their websites and you'll see some support there, or you can e-mail GS1 US directly.
