I need an expert who could supply a study on high-temperature RFID applications for our business plan. I am a device engineer developing a high-temp RFID IC that can activate and function at temperatures of up to 250 degrees Celsius (482 degrees Fahrenheit), or possibly higher. Our technology is a chip-level solution, so the device and antenna can function "naked" (without packaging) at these temperatures. The technology aspect of our business plan is nearly complete, but we need a market study to round it out so we can move forward with our investor proposal. Do you have any leads or advice?

Joshua,
There are several firms that offer market-sizing studies for clients. VDC Research has been one of the most active in the RFID and broad automatic-identification technologies sector. Other options include IDTechEx, Frost and Sullivan and IDC. These firms tend to be fairly expensive, though. If you are looking for an individual who might take on a project at a lower cost, feel free to email me at editor@rfidjournal.com and I can suggest someone.
