Joshua Morris asked 3 years ago

I need an expert who could supply a study on high-temperature RFID applications for our business plan. I am a device engineer developing a high-temp RFID IC that can activate and function at temperatures of up to 250 degrees Celsius (482 degrees Fahrenheit), or possibly higher. Our technology is a chip-level solution, so the device and antenna can function "naked" (without packaging) at these temperatures. The technology aspect of our business plan is nearly complete, but we need a market study to round it out so we can move forward with our investor proposal. Do you have any leads or advice?

Joshua,

There are several firms that offer market-sizing studies for clients.  VDC Research has been one of the most active in the RFID and broad automatic-identification technologies sector. Other options include  IDTechExFrost and Sullivan and  IDC. These firms tend to be fairly expensive, though. If you are looking for an individual who might take on a project at a lower cost, feel free to email me at  editor@rfidjournal.com and I can suggest someone.
