VeriPay was proposed by VeriChip, a manufacturer of implantable RFID chips, as a method of electronic payment. The idea was that you could scan a tag inserted under a person's skin, identify that individual, and charge his or her credit card on file. When will this catch on as a payment method? My guess is that it never will.
