I have not seen any studies on the rate of adoption of RFID in health care for 2015 or 2016. My impression, based on our news coverage, is that the adoption of real-time location system (RTLS) technologies has slowed slightly, but I don't have any hard data to back that up. I also think there has been an increase in the use of passive RFID for tracking implants and other medical devices.
