That type of monitoring would require an active RFID-based real-time location system (RTLS). It would be difficult to say which is the best company to hire, though, since there are a great many factors that could influence your decision. For example, if you already have an extensive array of Wi-Fi access points, it might make the most sense to deploy an active RFID solution utilizing Wi-Fi tags. Or, there might be other conditions that would make a different setup more suitable. I would suggest contacting a skilled systems integrator or consultant, who could then conduct a site survey of your facility, analyze your business requirements and suggest the most appropriate system for your particular needs.
