I am looking for bulk UHF tags and reader hardware. How can I narrow down my search from the businesses on RFID Connect's vendors list?

Muhutareem,

If you are looking for generic passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) RFID labels and readers, there are obviously many to choose from. It is not easy to narrow down the list. Most transponders use chips from Impinj or NXP Semiconductors, so what distinguishes them is the quality of the manufacturing, the tags' reliability and the company's ability to deliver them in a timely manner and at a low price. It is not easy to get vendors to provide pricing over the phone, and not all will respond to requests for references.

One thing I would recommend you do is look at the companies exhibiting at RFID Journal LIVE! 2017. These tend to be better-known firms that have worked with international clients. If you are able to attends the event, it will be easier to obtain pricing information there, and you can talk to some systems integrators about the tags they have used for projects, as well as how they performed.
