There are many firms that manufacture passive high-frequency (HF) tags compatible with NFC-enabled smartphones, including Avery Dennison, Invengo, Laxcen Inc., RR Donnelley and Smartrac Techology. If you seek NFC tags ruggedized for use on assets, check out InfoChip. NXP Semiconductors is the largest producer of NFC microchips, so you could also contact that company to request a complete list of its partners.
