A company called ADASA offers the wearable PAD3500 encoder, which Kimberly-Clark used to apply tags to promotional displays being shipped to Walmart (see Kimberly-Clark Gets an Early Win), though I don't know whether or not ADASA is still producing that device. I have not heard of other firms that make mobile or wearable units that produce tags for application to products or shipping containers. If anyone knows of any, they are welcome to post information below.
