Not to my knowledge, no. Radio frequency identification is used to track blood for transfusions, and tests have been conducted to determine if the technology causes any negative impact to blood cells, platelets or plasma (see Wisconsin Blood-Tracking Study Moves to Phase 2). But I have not heard of anyone using RFID to track blood cells. Perhaps our readers might have information related to this topic; if so, they are invited to post it below.
