Do any phones come with NFC technology? And can it read other types of tags?

Many mobile phones come with an embedded Near Field Communication (NFC) reader. NFC is a short-range form of radio frequency identification, designed for small financial transactions and communication between devices (it enables the rapid pairing of Bluetooth-enabled devices, for example). A cell phone equipped with an NFC reader can read NFC tags. It can't read other types of RFID tags, however, such as low-frequency (LF) or ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) tags.
