Mario,
Motorola sold its RFID business to Zebra Technologies in 2014 (see Zebra Buys Motorola Solutions’ Enterprise Business), so you could contact Zebra. Typically, an application that runs on a handheld reader lets you scan an item’s barcode and then write that barcode identifier, along with a serial number, to an RFID transponder. You would need to associate the serial number with that particular item in a database so that when the tag was read, you would know what the number identified.
