What kind of fabric can I use to eliminate electromagnetic interference with other RF devices?

For many applications, biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BoPET)—produced under a variety of brand names, including Mylar—provides effective shielding. You could also construct a Faraday cage around reader antennas, using wire mesh.

I recommend that you contact the staff of Laird Technologies, who are experts in electromagnetic interference solutions. You can view some of the company’s solutions at its Web site.
