We have tried to send only a continuous wave at the appropriate frequency, but without success. What should we send to the tag to get this information?

Lior,
The tag in question is an Alien Technology transponder based on the ISO 18000-63 air-interface protocol standard. To get this tag to respond, you must use a passive UHF RFID reader using that protocol. The protocol is the language with which tags and readers communicate. Without the protocol, the energy you are sending to the tag is like noise without words or sentences. The tag is receiving the energy, but it does not know how to respond.
