Can you please provide some information about that specification, including and how we could conduct testing and become certified?

Mingchuan,

AS5678 is a requirement specification developed by SAE International, a professional association for engineers that coordinates the development of technical standards. The spec lays out the requirements for RFID tags for use in the aerospace industry, and is based on the Air Transportation Association's SPEC2000 specification. We have a document available in our white-paper library titled "AS5678: Progress in SPEC 2000 for RFID use in Aerospace and Defense." It's a few years old, but it spells out how to do testing and get SAE AS5678-certified. You could also visit SAE's website and purchase a document that explains how to conduct testing and become certified.

Here is a link to a list of AS9100 certified labs offering aerospace compliance testing including RTCA DO-160 which is the environmental testing portion of AS5678 (Sec 6.3). You would likely need to use a separate lab for the RF performance section of AS5678 (Sec 6.3).
Search the list “Do-160”
