I assume you are asking whether RFID can be used to find cattle that have wandered off or been stolen. The answer is "no," unfortunately. RFID is a short-range technology. You would need to get to within 3 feet of a cow with a passive HF RFID ear tag, so that would not be of much help if you didn't know where that cow was.
