What would be the minimum attenuation required to avoid interrogating certain tags within a store or warehouse?

Carlos,

There is no definitive answer to your question. There are many variables that need to be considered, such as the make and model of the reader used, the distance between the tags you do and don't want to interrogate, the amount of metal in the environment and other factors. ePix offers a device called the Power Mapper 4 that allows a user to measure the amount of energy in order to attenuate a reader only as much as is required to eliminate cross-reading.
