What are the security mechanisms for protecting an EPC Gen 2 tag?

Prithvisagar,
I presume you are asking about the security of data stored on a tag. The EPC Gen 2 RFID protocol calls for data to be password-protected. Tag data, including the serial number and user memory, cannot be changed without an RFID reader first sending a 32-bit password to the tag.
I hope to see you at RFID Journal LIVE! 2020 in September.
