Ask The ExpertsDoes an NFC Tag Have a Unique EPC Identifier?

If so, can it be displayed along with other data when a tag is read?

Ray,

Near Field Communication (NFC) tags do not have a unique EPC identifier. The Electronic Product Code (EPC) was developed by GS1 and is based on GS1's existing company and product identifiers. Every NFC transponder has a unique number assigned by the chip maker, which can be displayed when the tag is interrogated.

I hope this answers your question, and I look forward to seeing you next month at RFID Journal LIVE! 2017.
