RFID Journal Staff asked 4 years ago I am using 13.56 MHz RFID technology. In the circuit, all input and output are isolated. Only the antenna is directly connected. But in the metal chassis is another system that has more EMI noise, which affects my antenna. How can I fix this?

Ali,
It's well known that motors can put out electromagnetic interference. Sparks, electric arcs and other things in the environment can also put out EMI, which will negatively affect an RFID system's performance. The solution is usually to ground the motor and use shielding. Placing a Mylar sheet or a metal insulating box around the motor should solve this problem.
