I need some details about antenna type (polarization and gain), RF waves and how they can be affected by materials, middleware, implementation and deployment. What book would be the most useful? I have been approached by clients to provide RFID on a very large scale, with the idea of being able to handle about half a million tags per month. I need to understand the extent and feasibility of such a huge-scale deployment with RFID. I would really appreciate your help.
The best book available is RFID Handbook: Fundamentals and Applications in Contactless Smart Cards, Radio Frequency Identification and Near-Field Communication, by Klaus Finkenzeller.
