I am seeking the best reader and antenna that could be utilized, tested and proven for use in highway tolling. It would need to comply with Indian standard protocols regarding RFID devices operating in the 865 to 867 MHz frequency range, and we are using passive RFID tags complying with the ISO 18000-6c standard. What would you recommend?

Nirmal,

I suggest you contact Tönnjes, which has developed a highly regarded passive UHF tolling system based on readers and software from Kathrein (see  RFID Breaks Speed Records for Tolling Solution). I also suggest you reach out to FEIG Electronic, which offers a passive UHF reader used in many toll-collection systems. You would need to purchase passive UHF tags designed to work on windshields, and make sure they are tamper-evident.
