If I understand your question correctly, I believe you are asking if any national revenue agencies are employing radio frequency identification to better assess taxes that are owed. We have not published many stories like that because RFID is not yet used on a lot of goods. Italy is utilizing the technology to track how much waste households produce so that the nation can then assess taxes based on volume (see Italy Tackles Its Waste Problem). That is the only story I recall that has related to increasing tax revenues via RFID.
