Are there any passive RFID tags that could withstand heat of 475 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes, as well as several chemical washes? We would be using 2,000 of these per day, so they would need to be economical.

Ron,
The answer would depend on your definition of "economical." To withstand a temperature of 475 degrees Fahrenheit, you would be looking at a unit cost of at least $5 per tag, probably more. It would depend on volume, of course. If there was a way to remove and recycle the tags, that might be your most cost-effective option.
