I do not know if there are any regulations governing the use of passive ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) RFID in Qatar. GS1 has released a document titled "Regulatory status for using RFID in the EPC Gen 2 and (860 to 960 MHz) of the UHF spectrum," which was last updated on May 31, 2013. That document includes information regarding regulations around the world, but there is no mention of Qatar. In addition, a 2010 document put out by the Qatari government recommending changes to the UHF spectrum allocation made no mention of RFID. If any of our readers have information about regulations regarding the use of UHF EPC RFID technology in that country, they are invited to post information below.
