If so, where can I learn more about them?

Uwe,

There are no technical specifications to my knowledge, but the Auburn University RFID Lab has created a series of performance specifications based on the requirements of end users (that is, retailers). For example, the lab will test the performance of a tag on a denim item placed flat on a display table. If the tag cannot be read at a certain distance, the lab will not certify it for use with that application. You can find the lab's specs at its website, under ARC Documents.
