A chip is a silicon integrated circuit that is attached to an antenna to create an RFID transponder. I assume you are looking for an LF RFID transponder. Here are a few companies that offer them:
• Brooks Automation
• GAO RFID
• HID Global
• RFID Inc.
• Texas Instruments
